Shot across May and June this roll of film was shot on my Canon EOS 300 which I am absolutely loving to shoot with. It’s so quick to grab from my bag and shoot with and it has been able to adapt for every situation I have needed it for.
Wandering Broadway market on sunny Saturday mornings with friends at the start of this insane heatwave. Listening to fab bands at Field Day with Sarah all thanks to Superdry. I love how living in London has allowed me to do so many things at the spur of the moment. I had a free few hours before an event and got to meet Holly for coffee and shoot some photos. I Snapped a few shots whilst Ollie and I were babysitting my nephews one weekend. They have changed so much recently, learning so much and surprising us all the time. They are so clever and the time spent with them at this age is so special. It’s great that in years to come I’ll be able to show James & George photos I shot of them on film, just like my parents did of my sisters and I when we were tiny. It’s great to have these film photos to look back on at these candid memories.
This is actually the last roll of film I’ve had developed, so there may be a little delay till the next post. I’m trying to keep to posting once a week here on the blog so there’s some consistency and you can get used to seeing a new post on Tuesdays. Also you may or may not have seen that I’ve launched a new monthly newsletter ‘Remember, Rewind & Reset’ which goes out on the last Saturday of the month and is a round up of the last month, with my recommendations of blog posts to read, books I’ve loved, podcasts to listen to along with new and noteworthy pieces that have caught my eye. I would love it if you’d join the mailing list. They’ll also be exclusive offers/content just for subscribers so here is the sign up link http://eepurl.com/duAOCj
Hope to see you there, have a wonderful week and I’ll see you soon.
film diaries have become my favorite type of posts, love these! do you now always bring the 300 with you, do you find it not too heavy to carry around constantly? I usually bring a really shitty point and shoot with me and with the rest of stuff it already feels heavy, but would be great to bring something a bit better…

Thanks so much Ailera!
So glad you liked these posts, I love shooting and uploading them.
I do pretty much always have the EOS 300 with me when I know I might want film along with my usual digital, the body doesn’t weigh much at all just depends on the lens you have on it (I usually keep a 50mm on it). I found mine rather cheaply on ebay and would really recommend it.
