Sad that summers coming to an end? But still wanting to fill your life with colour and joy! Then look no further than Dahlia Beach. The UK’s largest UK pick your own flower farm, made up of 4000 dahlia’s spanning an acre of land. Set within the award winning garden centre Millets Farm in South Oxfordshire.
I managed to stop by to visit on the second day they opened and it was truly a glorious site to behold. Dahlia Beach was founded and created by Andie McDowell in Nov 2020 during the pandemic. Andie’s story is such an inspiring one, you can read more here. If your not following her on instagram I suggest you do so immediately the account and Andie are such a tonic!!
The PYO flower farm is open now until the 30th Oct, seven days a week. Its advised to book in advance for your visit. The Dahlia Beach team are also running an exclusive PYO Flower Experience. The workshop covers growing, picking and arranging dahlias as well as creating your own bouquet of hand picked dahlia’s, absolutely dreamy if you ask me!
Our visit was full of photo taking as you can imagine, sadly I didn’t leave with any dahlia’s as we were travelling around for the next few days, but on my next visit I’ll be sure to fill the car! Thanks to the lovely Eve who we met during our visit, the whole team were so friendly and helpful.
Let me know if you end up visiting Dahlia Beach I’d love to see your photos!
