35mm Diaires #11 – Paris Edition

When we booked our trip to Paris I knew I wouldn’t be leaving home without my Canon EOS 300, I also wanted to invest in some Portra film as I haven’t ever shot with it before. When we arrived I was shooting the last of my Lomo 100 film, and I love the colours it’s captured of the Parisian rooftops. Ollie spotted the lady watering the flowers from our window and I couldn’t resist taking a few photos, a simple moment of everyday day life in the city of light.

I always feel so inspired walking around the streets of Paris. The look and feel of the streets are so different to London and it’s so nice to be emerged in a different place to ignite your creativity and look at things a little differently. I really liked the tones and colours captured by the Porta film, I tried to shoot with film as much as possible but always a little tricky when you’re capturing with digital too. But I’m pleased with the variety of moments from our trip that I did capture on film.

Looking back through all the photos fills me with wanderlust and I can’t wait for Ollie and I to plan another trip together for the new year! If you check out my previous Paris photo diary post you can see what we got up to on our trip. Part OnePart Two
