Getting into the festive spirit shooting with Cambridge Satchel Company and Kim from Love Cloth and her lovely boyfriend Simon. London has such an array of places to let you embrace and enjoy the festive season. Kim and the CSC team showed us some of their favourite festive spots in South London.
First we walked through Borough Market, one of the best food markets in the city. We’d definitely advise arriving early to try an avoid the crowds. If you’re in need of a warming pick me up head to Rabot 1745 and try their incredible Hot Chocolate and if you’re feeling super cheeky you can have a splash of rum or whiskey added in, what’s not to love!

Next we headed onto Bermondsey. South London isn’t an area I’m particularly familiar with, but I have to say after having a proper wander around during our shoot, I’ll be sure to go and check out some more places in the area. I’ll definitely have to head back to Tanner & Co for a weekend brunch!

Finally we ended our truly Christmassy day with a stroll along the Southbank. Little wooden huts line the riverside selling gifts and trinkets along with sweet and savoury treats that are not to be missed. A place that I also recommend that you visit is the ‘Southbank Winter Festival supported by NatWest’ featuring an array of musical acts across the festive season. There are lots of delicious food stalls and wonderful refreshments from Rekorderlig Cider Lodge.

I love how each of these looks have been put together with a perfect CSC bag to accompany and compliment the overall look. I think may favourite may have to be the Patent Red Satchel from the Southbank look. It looks amazing in the flesh and I love how it shines in the daylight and immediately catches peoples’ eyes. It’s the ideal bag to pair with a neutral outfit to add a pop of colour!
Shooting with CSC this year has been an absolute treat. I am so chuffed to be working alongside a brand that I have admired for so many years. This shoot with Kim and Simon could be my favourite to date with the brand. You must keep your eyes peeled for a second festive shoot with the wonderful ladies behind Betty Magazine, coming later this week! Which is your favourite bag from the shoot, will you be adding any to your Christmas Wishlist?
