At the start of September I was invited along to Goodwood Revival with Aspinal for the day. Being the first time I’d visited Goodwood and the Goodwood Revival event I couldn’t have been more enamoured with the event as a whole. The incredible attention to detail throughout along with a mirage of classic cars and everyone dressed up to the nines was a sight to behold.
On the day I was joined by the Aspinal and Goodwood Revival teams who had worked closely together. This year marked the ‘Revival Emporium’ which showcased everything fashion to do with this incredible event. Aspinal had supplied some of their gorgeous handbags for the fashion show. The revival themed catwalk show celebrated iconic styles from the 1940’s through to the rocking 50’s and onto the swinging 60’s.
I had such a blast getting to photograph the day and it was so lovely to meet the lovely Stephanie from ‘The Style Memo’, Pips Taylor and Georgina Toffolo and shoot with them for Aspinal. The highlight of my day had to be walking and shooting on the racetrack and getting up close to so many beautiful vintage cars, along with being surrounded by hundreds of likeminded people all at Goodwood Revival to celebrate motor racing and styles reminiscent of those glamorous days. I’d definitely love to go next year and make a proper weekend of it. Have you been to Goodwood Revival before? I’d love to know what your favourite parts of the event are.
