Happy New Year you lovely lot! We’re a week into 2019 and I have finally got around to writing this post for you all. I’m planning to write up a post of my goals and plans for the year ahead, but for today’s post I wanted to transport you back to my last trip to Meribel with Isabella and Six Travel.
What a trip this was, as I have mentioned previously I have never been anywhere like this ever before and although I didn’t try skiing this time, it’s something I would really love to try soon. When life gives you chances or opportunities I feel it’s really important to grab it with both hands and embrace it to the full.
Isabella and I knew immediately that we wanted to shoot as much content as possible whilst we were on the trip, so we used our time very efficiently and shot lots of different looks for Isabella’s blog and Instagram. I am so glad we got to go on this trip together before 2018 ended, as Isabella and her boyfriend Fergus are planning to travel around the world for the next 12 months, so I knew that other opportunities to shoot with her would be far and few between! I am so insanely jealous and proud that she’s taking on this adventure and I just know I’m going to get more and more jealous throughout the year when they are posting all of their amazing photos from incredible new locations.
Travelling and seeing new places is so important to me as it always ignites my creativity and gives me a new way of looking at things. For example, before I visited Meribel I’d never been to any snow-covered landscapes so I relished learning new photography skills in that environment. Opportunities like that just can’t be missed! I hope that I always make the most of every opportunity that comes my way and that 2019 is full of adventures.
The light in these photos is just gorgeous! <3__<3
