35mm Diaries #5

Back with the first 35mm Diaries post of the year, hurrah! These photos were taken from the start of Jan up until my recent trip to Budapest. One of the things I have loved about carrying round my OM10 is spotting framing for a photo and quickly loading up the shot to capture the moment. Upon getting this roll of film developed I had forgotten the photos shot on it so it was a very welcome surprise when I looked through all of them to see some photos I’d captured that took me right back to the moment I took them.

We went to the British Musuem for Ollie’s Birthday back in Jan and I really love the buildings around that area, some of them look so regal and have been so well maintained. I visited La Boite Creperie with Toni and my two little nephews; James & George before going for a walk in Epping Forest. James loved talking to the swans and ducks. Strolls around Columbia Road with Ollie one Sunday afternoon, which is one of my favourite areas in London. I love challenging myself to shoot around the same area but always capture something different.

I had a meeting at Selfridges, in my opinion one of the most incredible buildings in central London. I finally on this occasion got to eat at the restaurant on the roof which was wonderful! Capturing scenes around Dalston and then there are a few photos from a very rainy weekend in the city. Finally here a few shots from Budapest where this roll of film ended and there may be a few more Budapest photos in the next 35mm Diaries post. Wishing you all a wonderful week now the snow is finally clearing, you can bet that there will be a few snowy photos in my next 35mm post also. I’m off on a very exciting trip to Cornwall for a few days tomorrow, I can’t wait to tell you lot all about it very soon. Do follow me on instagram as I’m planning to keep stories updated throughout the trip along with lots of new photos @amberrosephoto.
