35mm Diaries #4

So this is the last 35mm post shot in 2017, it was fun to have these developed last week, I’d partly forgotten what was on the roll. After such a chilled Christmas and new year I can’t wait to get back to shooting regularly and taking my OM10 out as much as possible too.

Coffee in Notting Hill with the lovely Natasha at Pedlar’s, I recommend you check out Natasha’s very colourful and design led instagram, it never fails to brighten my day. Wandering around De Beauvoir with Meredith on one of her recent trips to London and shooting on a Hasselblad for a project at uni. There are so many gorgeous streets in De Beauvoir, I also spotted two VW Campers which is one of my favourite cars.

At the end of November Ollie and I made a trip to Oxford Circus to do some Christmas shopping and we were surprisingly successful. We both loved the Carnaby Christmas light display, it was like a rio carnival had arrived on the infamous shopping street. The following day we went to Dirty Bones in Shoreditch for brunch which was delicious! Their Shoreditch branch is in the most gorgeous Grade II listed building.

The week before Christmas I headed home to Suffolk to stay with my parents, it was so lovely to arrive in the sunshine and see the Christmas wreath on the door. Over the chrimbo limbo we spent the day taking my adorable nephews to Wimpole Farm, a firm favourite of James’.  We had such a lovely afternoon, apart from the puddle incident…but after all isn’t there always a muddy puddle involved when the words farm and 3 year old are combined? The last shot on my roll was taken at the bus stop on the weekend we got back to London for Ollie’s birthday, I spotted a cat in the window and had to snap a shot.
