2015… Where do I begin? This post has been a pretty mammoth task to put together, but I am really pleased that I decided to create a round up post for the year as it’s made me reflect on what a really incredible year has just passed. Overall it has been such a positive year, so many changes but all for the better. You better grab a cuppa…
This year has seen my career blossom into more than I could have hoped for. I’ve worked with so many inspiring people and incredible brands, and work has gradually begun to increase over time which I am extremely thankful for. I was able to take a big leap and become freelance, something I have only been able to dream about until this year. I am still working lots of different aspects out. Being your own boss is something I’m getting gradually used to, but I love working with new people and the range of work I have undertaken since becoming freelance has been so interesting! I’m hoping for 2016 to be the best year yet and I’m looking forward to lots of new and exciting projects.
I started work with Victoria back in July when we shot the relaunch editorial for her site ‘InTheFrow.com‘. We’ve gone on to work on a number of collaborations with brands together throughout the rest of the year. I’m not sure I could name my favourite as we have worked on some very exciting projects together. I am very much looking forward to working with Vic in the new year and seeing where our creative collaboration takes us! I am so proud of the progress that Victoria has made over this past year and I am so chuffed to have played a part.

It’s hard to believe that Megan and I only met this year, it feels as if we’ve been friends for years. We’ve been fortunate enough to work together a lot throughout the year. We first met and shot together at February LFW after much planning and the rest, as they say, is history! I’m so chuffed to see her blog and career grow this year and to have helped play a part in her jump to become freelance. Very much looking forward to seeing what the next year has in store for us both.
ASOS . Becoming freelance . Levis . Hollister . London Fashion Week ( Feb, Sept One, Sept Two). Henry London . General Style
Amy my little munchkin, it’s hard to believe we only met this year. We’d been planning a shoot for around 2 years, so we got there in the end I suppose. We started shooting together in June and have worked on quite a few collaborations together. All can be seen via the links below. As Amy lives in Scotland we only get to work together when she comes down to London, but I am hoping to make a trip up to see Amy in the new year. Here’s to many more future photographic adventures together!
Reiss (One, Two) . Very Exclusive . Dune London . Early Birthday Celebrations . General Style .
I could not be more thankful for the people I have in my life that watch out for me. My family and friends are the most encouraging and supportive people I know. Emily and I continued our adventures this year, lots of days out and my only trip abroad this year to Lisbon. Somewhere I’d love to return to and explore much more.
Little J’s first year has certainly been memorable, he’s grown so much. He’s going to be such a clever little boy, its been such a privilege to teach him and introduce him to new things. The next year is only going to get more exciting for him, he’s nearly walking and I can’t imagine that it will be long until he’s running around the house. His 1st Birthday was such a blast, one we’ll all remember for many years to come.
The Autumn saw Meredith arrive in London for her gap year. We’d been talking via Instagram for well over a year, and I am so chuffed to have been able to get to know her these past few months and call her my friend. It’s so wonderful showing a friend round a city that you love and I know from Meredith’s beautiful photos she’s fallen head over heels for the city too.
This year was rounded off perfectly with my 21st Birthday earlier in December. Celebrations both in London and at home with all my closest friends and family. A truly memorable occasion that I will be sure to remember forever. Christmas has been magical as always. The perfect way to end such an incredible year! I’m so looking forward to 2016 and seeing what it has in store for me. New adventures, projects and collaborations.
