Circolo Popolare

It will probably come as no surprise that when Big Mamma group opened another restaurant in London, I needed to visit immediatley. Circolo Popolare is just off of Oxford Street and as soon as you walk through the door it really feels like you’ve been transported to Italy. Yet again the decor is impeccably done, there is so much attention to detail and everywhere you look there’s something to see and ogle over.

Transported to Sicily in a matter of moments and toasting cocktails to celebrate a work lunch, I can think of no other way I’d love to spend an afternoon. There are knowledgable and friendly staff on hand to help with all of your needs and help you choose from the menu when you just can’t decide what to have.

Of course their tremendous menu didn’t disappoint. Sarah and I opted to share our plates as we were having lunch and didn’t want anything too big, yet we both left with such food comas we literally couldn’t do anything but sit for an hour straight afterwards. We had a pesto stuffed burrata (yes it was as heavenly as it sounds), a pizza with pesto, olives and peppers and finished with churros piped with melted chocolate, do I need to say more? I hope that these photos and post make you want to go and visit, I just know I’ll be back again very soon. Let me know if you visit and what you think of the restaurant. This post is in no way sponsored by the Big Mama Group (although wouldn’t that be incredible) just my pure obsession with amazing Italian food and beautiful decors.
