Bank holiday Sunday in East London, with two birthdays to celebrate we strolled through Victoria Park and stopped for a late lunch at ‘The Empress’. Nothing quite like good food, drinks and company… And a few presents to share the birthday cheer! To top it off The Empress’ roasts are the talk of the park; and I for one can see what all the fuss is about – De-lici-ous! The desserts sent us all into one hell of a heavenly food comba, but we were defeated by a naughty Mister Whippie, as we made our way back along the river. A lovely weekend!
