I’m writing this post whilst in Aberdeen visiting Ollie who’s currently playing in the orchestra in the city’s pantomime of Snow White. Looking back through these photos has made me wish everywhere would be covered in snow in time for a White Christmas on Tuesday!
Whilst visiting Meribel with Six Travel last month we took an afternoon trip to Val Thorens, a gorgeous ski resort. This was the first time I’d visited anywhere like this before and I was totally lost for words at the breathtaking landscape. We had lunch at Hotel Le Val Thorens whilst the others from the group took a break from skiing. Isabella’s a seasoned skier whilst I have never been so we decided to just explore the hotel and the surrounding area instead. Hotel Le Val Thorens is located directly next to the slopes, a dreamy situation if you ask me and if you click the link above you can take a look at the hotel and book your stay.
The scenery lit up when the sun started to go down and it felt as if the whole landscape was glowing. We then headed back to Chalet Les Brames for another scrumptious meal. You’ll have to stay tuned for my next Meribel post to see what we got up to next.
