Positive changes for 2017

A new year does get you thinking about changes you’d like to make for the next twelve months. With January now very nearly over I’m reflecting on the month that’s been and the positive changes I’ve already been able to make this year.

One was to get my accounts into order, something I’d been putting off for a while. The struggle is real when you’re faced with piles and piles of paperwork and receipts. But now I’ve made a significant dent in it all. I’m even able to now get ahead with organising everything for next year too. I am going to keep on top of things this year and catch up with the boring stuff at least once a month. Then I won’t be faced with a huge paperwork monster next year!

I started a bullet journal back in October and I can honestly say it’s the best journalling system I have ever tried. With a normal diary I would always forget to update it or carry it in my handbag. But my bullet journal encases so much more than just a day-to-day diary. I can keep track of my shoot, blog schedule, invoices and events. I use mine to document ideas, places I want to visit and much much more. I couldn’t now imagine not reaching for it on a Sunday and planning the week ahead. It’s become a very methodical process. Please let me know if you’d be interested in me sharing more about my bullet journal. I’ve loved watching so many different Youtube videos on them this past month seeing how people have laid out their 2017.

Keeping my blog updated regularly. I have been making a conscious effort to update this blog weekly with new content since the end of last year. I always want to make sure my photos and content that I share with you lovely lot is of a high standard and something I’d want to be reading myself. I have struggled to keep up with posting on a regular basis in the past but I have finally got into a routine to make this change and I’m really enjoying being able to update you with new photos and stories on a weekly basis. This post funnily enough coincides with my blogs 6th birthday (which is today), now that’s crazy!! Here’s to the next six and many more. Thank you all so much for your continued support, you truly are the loveliest bunch! I’d love to know what positive changes you have made to start the new year?
